Singapore, 8th Jan, 2026 – XPENG today showcased its bold strategy to propel Singapore from the digital AI era into the physical AI era at the 2026 Singapore Motorshow. Showcasing the new XPENG Next P7 as well as its human-like IRON humanoid robot together for the 1st time in South East Asia, XPENG is committed to elevating Singapore’s EV competition from horsepower-focused to brainpower-focused.
XPENG has built a full-stack self-developed Physical AI system that covers multiple fields such as chips, operating systems (large models), and intelligent hardware. The construction of this system will provide a technological foundation for XPENG's implementation in embodied intelligent carriers such as AI cars, Robotaxis, humanoid robots, and flying cars.
Both XPENG the Next P7 and the XPENG IRON is equipped with 3 Turing AI chips, with an effective computing power of 2250 TOPS, and at the same time, the humanoid's latest generation is the first to be equipped with XPENG's first-generation physical world large model. By constructing a high-order combination of capabilities of the "VLT + VLA + VLM", it realizes the three high-order intelligences of "conversation, walking, and interaction". It is worth noting that XPENG's "VLT large model" is a brand-new large model specifically developed for robots , regarded as the core engine for robots' autonomous actions, enabling them to achieve in-depth thinking and autonomous decision-making.
XPENG also announced that it will commence to launch more models into the Singapore market with the class-leading intelligent features. The 1st ever mass production model with XPENG Turing AI Chip will be launched as early as 1st half 2026. The XPENG Turing AI Chip boasts 750 TOPs of effective computing power with a 40-core processor, which supports models with up to 30 billion parameters and delivers the power of three high-performance chips in one. XPENG’s Turing AI system marks a pivotal step toward L4 autonomy, with continual model updates from cloud-based models, ensuring a highly responsive, ever-evolving smart driving experience.

XPENG will also debut its new G6 Air model at the show, expanding its latest G6 lineup into the CAT A segment, which takes about 65% in Singapore new EV market. The G6 Air variant starts at a lower price but still offers the true 800V 5C fastcharging capabilities (10-80% in just 12 mins) as well as full autonomous parking, X-Pilot Assist and a series of best-performing intelligent features in the market.
The new G6 Air will offer 1.7 times, 1.6 times and 5.4 times higher performance in CPU, GPU and NPU AI processing power respectively than the last generation mainstream 8155 chips. These enhancements power higher and higher performance of core features like ACC, LCC, and visual perception systems.
Singapore is a global innovation hub, and its EV penetration rate has quickly climbed from 30% last year to around 40% this year and approaching 50% in 2026. XPENG believes the users will evolve from basic electrified features to smart features like advanced intelligent driving and smart cabin features.
