As part of our recruitment process, Debono Group’s HR department collects and processes personal data relating to job applicants. The personal data may be held by us – Debono Group Holdings Company Ltd (and our subsidiaries) – in paper or in electronic format. We are committed to being transparent about how we collect and use that data and to meeting data protection obligations under applicable law. We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose of recruitment. Purpose of Processing
Debono Group operates a Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system in and around its premises, including showrooms, workshops, storage facilities, car parks, and external areas. The CCTV system is installed for the prevention, detection and investigation of crime, to ensure the security of our staƯ, visitors, property and vehicles, and, where necessary, to assist in the investigation of incidents and regulatory compliance.
Lawful Basis for Processing
The processing of personal data through CCTV is based on Debono Group’s legitimate interests in ensuring the safety and security of its premises, employees, customers and assets, in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
Types of Personal Data Processed
The CCTV system captures and records visual images of individuals and vehicles in the monitored areas. Audio recording is not enabled.
Access and Disclosure
Access to CCTV recordings is strictly limited to authorised personnel within Debono Group who require such access for legitimate business or security reasons. Recordings may be disclosed to:
Retention Period
CCTV recordings are retained for a period of 7 days, unless a longer retention period is required for investigation or legal purposes. Recordings that are no longer required are securely deleted or overwritten.

Individuals captured by CCTV have the same data protection rights as set out in Section 8 of this Privacy Policy, including the right to request access to footage in which they appear (subject to the rights and privacy of others and to applicable exemptions).

Signage and Transparency
Clear signage will be displayed at all entry points to CCTV-monitored areas, informing individuals that CCTV is in operation and identifying Debono Group as the data controller.
