XPILOT ASSIST is our Advanced Driver Assistance System that uses a variety of cameras, radars, and sensors to offer support in three main areas: driving, parking, and safety. Over-the-air (OTA) software and firmware updates help improve Xmart OS, XPILOT ASSIST, and general driving performance over time. These automatic updates keep your XPENG in peak condition, from adding features to Xmart OS to optimizing the air conditioning system. In many cases, OTA updates prevent you from taking unnecessary trips to the nearest garage.

XPENG App

Using the XPENG App, drivers can lock and unlock their cars, view the battery status, and control certain functions. They can even remotely summon their XPENG if they need to get out of a tight parking spot.

2. The vehicle configuration information is only applicable to the corresponding models produced within a certain production month, and the vehicle configuration information produced during different production months might be different.

3. XPILOT ASSIST intelligent driving system is a driving assistance function and cannot cope with all traffic, weather and road conditions. The driver must always pay attention to observe the current traffic situation. If the automatic assist driving system fails to provide proper steering assistance or maintain proper distance and speed, the driver must actively intervene. Please read all information about XPILOT ASSIST in the driver manual to better understand the limitations of this system. The driver should be aware of these restrictions before using XPILOT ASSIST. Please be cautious during complex and changeable traffic conditions, icy and snowy roads, wet and slippery weather, stagnant or muddy roads, poor visibility, rugged mountain roads, or highway exits.

4. Our cars can receive OTA updates that improve existing functions or introduce new functions via a Wi-Fi or 4G connection. As soon as the update has been downloaded, you will receive a notification on the screen at the front of the car. You can also check out new updates by tapping the XPENG logo at the top of the central screen. It is also possible to schedule the download of an update for a later time. After you set the download to a later time, you can adjust the time or cancel the update on the touch screen by clicking the XPENG logo -> Install -> Cancel or Adjust time .
