Three-layer battery shield
The XPENG G6 uses an advanced LFP battery with a three-layer 4-3-4 shield that protects against shock, fire, and overheating. LFP technology provides added safety, long life, and reliable performance—even with frequent charging and varying temperatures.
Smart power isolation
The battery is built with safety as its foundation. A three-layer battery shield in a 4-3-4 structure protects against shock, fire and thermal overheating – and provides extra robustness in the event of an accident. At the same time, an intelligent power system monitors the battery’s condition in real time and can automatically cut off power in the event of a fault or abnormal activity. This means the car reacts faster than you can detect the problem – so you can drive safely without thinking about it.
The battery is integrated as a supporting part of the car's structure, which increases safety, rigidity and space in the cabin.
The front and rear of the G6 are manufactured using giga-casting, where large parts of the body are cast in one piece under enormous pressure. The result? A stronger and lighter construction that provides better safety, more interior space and longer range.

As soon as the update is downloaded, you will receive a notification on the front screen of the car. You can also check for new updates by tapping the XPENG logo at the top of the center display. It is also possible to schedule the download for a later time. After scheduling, you can adjust the time or cancel the update on the touchscreen by tapping XPENG logo → Install → Cancel or Adjust time.
