Every new XPENG vehicle imported into Australia by XPENG Australia and registered in Australia is backed by the XPENG Manufacturer’s Warranty, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the XPENG ANZ Warranty and Maintenance Manual – Australia.

Warranty at a glance

Whole vehicle warranty
7 years / unlimited km for private use
7 years / 160,000 km for commercial use, whichever occurs first.

Key parts warranty
8 years / 160,000 km, whichever occurs first
Covers the traction battery, battery management system (BMS), drive motor and intelligent power unit (IPU).

Paint warranty
5 years / unlimited km

Anti-corrosion warranty
7 years / unlimited km
Applies to sheet metal anti-corrosion and anti-rust coating, subject to the conditions in the Warranty and Maintenance Manual.

What’s covered?

XPENG warrants new XPENG vehicles against faults or defects in workmanship and materials during the applicable warranty period, except for excluded items and subject to the conditions outlined in the XPENG ANZ Warranty and Maintenance Manual – Australia.

Additional warranty periods apply to certain consumable parts and other warranty items. For complete coverage details, conditions and exclusions, please refer to the Warranty and Maintenance Manual.

Traction battery warranty

Gradual reduction in battery capacity over time is a normal characteristic of traction batteries. During the Key Parts Warranty Period, the traction battery warranty provides for a minimum of 70% of the battery’s original capacity, subject to the conditions outlined in the Warranty and Maintenance Manual.
