Melbourne, 21 July, 2026 - XPENG today unveiled its long-term strategy for Australia, reaffirming its commitment to one of its most important international markets. The company announced plans to introduce its advanced Navigation Guided Pilot (NGP) technology in 2027, launch five new AI-powered models in 2026, and rapidly expand its local sales, delivery and service network, bringing Australian customers earlier access to XPENG’s latest intelligent mobility technologies and a comprehensive ownership experience.

At the Melbourne event, XPENG ANZ debuts the seven-seat X9 flagship, available to order now, and shows the L03 compact SUV in right-hand drive days after its global unveiling in Munich on 16 July. The L03 is confirmed for Australian sale in Q4 2026.
Further models complete a showcase line-up, including the updated MY26 G6, with two of the vehicles on display also confirmed for Australia but subject to embargo.

Built on an EV-first philosophy, the system delivers a pure electric driving experience for everyday use while providing added range confidence for longer journeys, regional travel, and unpredictable charging situations.

It represents the next step in making electric driving accessible, reliable, and suitable for more real-world driving scenarios.
XPENG ANZ's genuine-parts warehouse is now operational at a Melbourne facility managed with FedEx, handling national parts inventory, workshop support, customer support, and dealer technical assistance for all XPENG ANZ vehicles, with next-day delivery across major states.
XPENG ANZ technical support runs across three levels: factory-trained specialist dealers as first point of contact, remote diagnostics drawing on vehicle data, and field technicians attending dealerships where needed.
XPENG ANZ is working with the Australian Automotive Service and Repair Authority (AASRA) to support the Motor Vehicle Service and Repair Information Sharing Scheme (MVIS) — Australia's right-to-repair framework, introduced in 2022. Once finalised, authorised and independent repairers will be able to access eligible XPENG service and repair information under MVIS — so owners are not locked into the manufacturer’s network and can choose an independent workshop.
