About the USCALE EV Satisfaction Study
The 2026 EV Satisfaction Study was conducted by Stuttgart-based consulting and market research firm USCALE in June and July 2026. The study surveyed 4,004 owners of battery electric vehicles aged no more than three years across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, assessing their experiences with vehicle performance, charging, software, connectivity and everyday usability.
This marks the seventh edition of USCALE's annual study. Participants were recruited via social media and are not statistically representative of the average EV driver. The findings provide insights into the experiences and expectations of engaged EV users.
